Sightbox refers new patients to offices at no cost. The vast majority of Sightbox members are people who wear contact lenses but do not have an existing vision benefits ("insurance") plan and have not had a comprehensive eye exam in more than one year.
When a Sightbox member's annual membership and prescription approach expiration, we refer them back to the same practice so that they can begin the healthy habit of getting an annual eye exam from the same practice.
Sightbox also pays for all referral exams at the time of the appointment, for the full out-of-pocket rate for the services received.
